Pay : $105 / hr to $115 / hr based on exp.
Description :
- Performs microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides for abnormal cellular changes. BS Life Science, CT(ASCP), NY State registration required.
- Accurately diagnose infectious diseases, cancerous and precancerous lesions, and various conditions that cause inflammation.
- Assisting with the collection of needle aspiration samples
- Preparing slides by staining samples
- Evaluating samples while following laboratory protocols
- Calibrating, troubleshooting, checking and maintaining microscopes and other laboratory equipment
- Entering diagnostic information into computer systems
